As a child of the 80's and 90's I have watched our world and our social dynamics change through technology at ever-increasing speeds from the advent of the computer to artificial intelligence. I have always been fascinated by the nature of our world. Especially fascinating is how we are becoming more and more reliant on technology and social media to maintain relationships, and simultaneously it is serving to isolate us. We are more connected by the digital world than ever before and yet we are lonely.
